Log in to Audenticity to add your logo and write a short description. If you support multiple schools, it's a good idea to list them in the description. We also suggest sharing what the funds will be used for.
Your collections and stores should already be curated and displayed in My Storefront.
To get started, invite parents to shop through your new Storefront. To get the best link to share with parents, go to your My Storefront page, and click on "Share your profile". This will copy the link to your clipboard. Be sure to use this shortened link.
(Optional) If you wish, you can hide or delete any Collections that you don't want displayed. You can also remove any products from your Favorites or from Collections.
If you'd like to add more products and curate your own collections, you can browse the Product Catalog and Favorite items. Then you can add them to specific Collections.
When you share your storefront or a product link with parents, grandparents, and your community and someone clicks on your link and purchases from the retailer, the retailer pays Audenticity a commission. The commission is set by the retailer. Audenticity pays out a portion (70%) of this commission to you once it is finalized.
All of our stores and brands are listed on our Partners page.
Almost all the products in the product catalog are eligible for commission. When you're logged in and on the product page, you can see the commission set by the retailer at that time. They can change it in the future, but you can always check to see what the active commission rate is.
By default, when you join the Audenticity platform, you have access to all the products and brands on the platform. In some cases, a retailer may choose to not work with some schools because they aren't the right fit. If this happens, the retailer will let us know that they have declined a school and we will then notify you. Any sales you've already generated for that retailer will still be credited to you but any new sales will not earn any commission.
Some products have 0% commission set. Most likely, these are products that were added by other schools or advocates who want to recommend them even though we do not have a retailer offering a commission. You are welcome to recommend them as well and if we are able to get a retailer to offer a commission, your link will automatically be updated so you don't have to worry about changing it later.
With Premier Retailers, all of their products available for sale are in the Product Catalog, so it's super easy to create a link and start sharing. You'll see near real-time reporting in your Analytics page for Clicks and Orders driven through your links.
With Retailers, only some of their products are already in the Product Catalog and the product information, such as inventory, images, and description can be out of date. Orders and Earnings data are batch-uploaded at the end of the month, rather than real-time.
You can see which of our partners are Premier Retailers on our Partners page.
The FTC requires clear and conspicuous disclosure if you receive a free item, cash, or payment to review or promote a product - this includes receiving a commission on the sale of a product. There is no standard disclosure language, so you should simply provide readers/followers with essential information in close proximity to the relevant claim or product feature. Your storefront has this language already displayed for you, but if you are promoting links to specific products or brands elsewhere (e.g. social media), then you should include an #affiliate or #ad hashtag in your social media posts and a full disclosure on each blog post.
For more information, visit the official site of the FTC.
Once an order is placed, the retailer must fulfill the order. If either the retailer or the customer cancels all or part of the order before it is shipped/fulfilled, the eligible commission is reduced or eliminated. If the retailer fulfills all or part of the order, there is typically a period of time (usually 30 days) when a customer can initiate a return and get a refund. Refunded amounts also do not qualify for commission. Once the products have shipped and the return period has passed, the commission is “finalized” for the retailer.
In their next billing cycle, the retailer will be invoiced for their “finalized” commissions. When the retailer pays their invoice, then the Earnings will be “finalized”. If the Retailer is delayed in or defaults on paying their invoice, then Earnings will not be “finalized” or paid out.
When your earnings total $25 or more, we will ask you to provide some paperwork for tax purposes. Once that is complete, we will send you a paper check or an ACH payment each month that your accumulated earnings are greater than $25.
